I'm buying a game off steam today and I'm wondering about the safety of using a credit card and if there are any programs that are on my computer that could possibly give away information...thanks

If you're concerned about that, use Paypal instead.

It shouldn't be a problem at all. Steam is very well recognized in the gaming industry and should be trustworthy.

Well of coarse there could be... there probably isn't. But if there was using paypal wouldn't be of any help.

You'll have to get a program like McAfee or AVG to check your computer for unwanted programs if you are concerned about keyloggers.

Steam is really the only place online that I use my credit card. I just trust that its safe since Ive bought a few things without a problem.
