Hello guys,I am planning on getting this motherboard intel extreme which has support for crossfire set up. I just wanted to know what you guys think of crossfire. is it worth it? does it really help run games in higher resolutions? I am planning on getting the 2900Pro. do you think that this card will work well? or just give me your opinion on the whole crossfire thing because I am kinda skeptical to go ahead with it. From what I have been reading though, it seems that crossfire is a better technology than SLI, do you agree? thanks
Yes CrossFire setup is superior to SLi but there is really no point on buying 2 mid grade GPUs... You should get a single high end gpu unless you play on 26+ moniter..

Crossfire tehcnically works better thanSLI, however SLI is more supported by games. im using GTX SLI and everything runs sweet for me. i think the 3dmark06 benchmark record is held by crossfire tho. those 2900 Pro's are meant to be awesome, i'd Crossfire them for sure. do you run windows XP or Vista? coz it does matter. in Vista, you cannot overclock the cards when in Crossfire.
