Not a huge fan of Origin but they're giving away this game cheap considering it's 40 dollars everywhere else. I know the game has mixed reviews but I figured it's worth picking up at that price considering I've never played the second one.

If it were steam I would probably actually buy this. Maybe next time...

I checked Steam and it's 40 unfortunately.I didn't like it that much at launch, yet I still find myself playing it. The level design is really great - smaller sandboxes full of options... I love it. The awful story, cutscenes and forced scripted events are what ruin the game. The DX11 patch is incredible.
I'm replaying it right now, just finished the fifth level, and I might pick up Crysis 3 at launch...
This. The story is kinda lame but it's still worth palying. The game is definitely worth $12.It gets 100x better in the second half. I was honestly bored with the beginning, but after the half way point it got really, really good. I'd say go for it for $12.

After playing it for a bit I understand while people were mad about this one. It's pretty decent but it doesn't have the wow factor that Crysis 1 had. The graphics look like a smoothed out console port which is fine but also underwhelming. So far still fun though and I'm not arguing with the price.
There were some pretty epic WOW moments for me (the central park part for example). After playing it for a bit I understand while people were mad about this one. The graphics don't look like a console port at all once you get the official DX11 patch and the official HD texture pack. The game looks better than the first and it is one of, if not the best looking game out right now. After playing it for a bit I understand while people were mad about this one. Thats $12 more than id pay for it, if i had to buy it again.

Why would you buy it twice? You could say that for any game.
Its not a bad game, but dont play it expecting something like Crysis1 level of greatness cause you'd end up disappointed !!

I bought Minecraft 4 times, once for me, once for a friend, for the missis and the ipad version. It was worth the price every time. I also baught 3 copies of Guild Wars 2 for me and a couple of friends, and same for a few other games last year.
Many people do buy games twice, weather it be for multiple systems, a gift for someone else. The reason doesnt matter, its still $12 more than I would pay if I had to buy it again.

I think I've been spoiled recently becasue I've also been playing The Witcher 2 maxed out as well.wow - for once the UK actually gets better pricing - the sale is a "games for under £5" deal, which works out something around $8Avenger1324Origin actually had Crysis and Crysis 2 on sale for $5 earlier. It wasn't the maximum edition but the maximum edition for Crysis 2 is useless anyways.
