Weapon attachments treated like modifications rather than accessories. There should be a time and place where I should attach a silencer and where I should NOT attach a silencer to my weapon. Within the current Crysis/Crysis Warhead builds, attachments like silencers, laser attachments and grenade launchers are treated like "accessories" because their advantages within combat far outweigh their disadvantages. For example, why should I NOT use a silencer? The penalty for using a silencer on a weapon is slightly-decreased damage (10% I believe), but seriously, does this even do anything? I'm shooting an assault rifle that can kill another player in under ten bullets--using a silencer will, at most, only require me to shoot one extra bullet in order to kill another player. Considering the fact that I am also now undetectable on radar and a lot harder to hear, there truly is no cons with using a silencer. Why not just super glue it to all your guns then? This applies for attachments like the laser, grenade launcher and reflex sight.
Don't isolate DX9 and DX10 features within multiplayer (or possible DX11 features). Complex physics within multiplayer would have made Crysis a whole lot more fun and interesting to play, where-as the current build simply feels static and lifeless due to a lack of physics that are accessible within the single player. Crytek's excuse was that players running on "DX9-only systems" would be hindered by the use of breakable houses, trees, boxes, etc. Guess what? Crysis runs better on DX9 than DX10, and all the DX10 implementations were shallow and pointless, and could've easily been done on a DX9-only build requiring less performance. Isolating the multiplayer community between those who use Windows XP and Windows Vista was an incredibly stupid move, as the community has chosen to stick with the servers that are more popular with the larger crowd (the DX9 users) and now everybody plays on DX9 servers and nobody plays on DX10 servers. Don't make the same mistake again, Crytek.
Actually put some effort into balancing weapons/vehicles in multiplayer... Seriously. Any sort of fun I may ever get out of multiplayer is swiftly ruined by a VTOL, a cloaked FGL-40 user, a camping MOAC user, whatever. There are so many broken weapons, vehicles, items, etc. within Crysis that it's simply fustrating to play at times. Weapons and vehicles like the SCAR, SMG, FGL-40, MOAC, C4, Claymores, Anti-Air Artillery, Helicopters and VTOLs are all fustratingly overpowered while weapons and vehicles like the Shotgun, Minigun, Gauss Tank (Why was this even nerfed in the first place? It was perfect in the original Crysis) and Heavy Gauss Vehicle are underpowered.
Last, fix many of the bugs that currently plagues these games. Bugs ranging from the mildly-amusing flying frogs to the irritating "Server Authentication Failed" bugs, they all need to go. Any of these bugs remaining within the second game is simply inexcusable.
