Mechwarrior Online uses CryEngine 3's netcode and it was ****ing awful for the longest time. The developers eventually just gave up and started work on their own netcode. When have to shoot the ground ahead of a slow moving mech to hit them with a laser, there's an issue.

Totally depends, I've seen some people praising the game while some bashing it, However i liked it.

Its worth it just as a graphical show case if nothing else. How limited is "limited" ? I cant see 3.5gb breaking the bank.

Just to see the graphics yes. The multiplayer itself isnt very good though.

I like Hunter mode. Being the prey is scary and being the hunter almost lives up to my Predator fantasies.

Crash Site is almost as bad as in Crysis 2.

Overall it's an improvement. The new suit and alien weapons are really fun!

Looks mighty impressive but the multuplayer is pretty horrible. Hunter (or whatever the gamemode is called) is kinda fun, but nothing amazing.

I never liked Crysis multiplayer... so, if the gameplay is to your liking, go ahead. If it's just for tha graphics... No. There is not much to see, you can see in a youtube video. Wait for the real deal.

I like Hunter Mode too, and Crash site can be fun. I like playing as the prey, more. I will usually grab a shield, and wait for a hunter to come at me and I just slam it right in his face. It never gets old lol.

The more I play the more fun I have...

Crysis 2 feels very cumbersome in comparison.

I wonder how big the performance hit is in singleplayer.

I think it's a lot of fun, but I don't know if it's worth wasnting your data usage on. It needs a lot of work. Then again if you are on the fence of Crysis 3 and you need this to decide then yeah go for it. If you are already getting it then I'd wait for full release :)
