Crysis and Warhead are $5, Crysis 2 (maximum edition) is $10. Or get the whole collection for $17.50. Just a heads up for anyone who still hasn't tried these games yet. I'm actually thinking about buying Crysis 1 for $5, just to have a copy on steam. I have my original retail disc copy from 2007, but it won't register on Steam or Origin.

The first Crysis is still one of my favorite FPS games, and was the worthy successor to Far Cry. $5.00 is well worth it, and it just might be even if, like you, I still have my original disk version from 07. It's just too bad I'd have to pay for a full Crysis 2 Maximum Edition instead of having ever had the chance to upgrade the original, which I have through Steam already. At least $10.00 makes it a lot more reasonable.

Yeah, Crysis is one of only a handful of games I still play that I don't have on steam or origin, and I also can't seem to find a working no-cd crack for it, even after all these years, so it's literally the only game I own that I need a disc in drive to play. That's the big reason I'm thinking about spending 5 bucks on another copy.

Also, I think the Crysis 2 maximum edition only has a handful of extra MP content. Is there even still a decent community playing C2 online?

It seemed like most of the extra content was for multiplayer. While I played more multiplayer of 2 than I did the first game, the majority of time I play FPS games, it's for the single player experience, with some exceptions. $1.00 or more per map for a game that might not have many playing might still not be worth it, but for me the single player of Crysis 2 was worth it when I got it new.

First Crysis is probably my favourite FPS I have ever played! Really recommend it to anyone who hasn't played it before, Think i'm going to be getting Crysis 2 today, it looks pretty good, so i'll give it a shot.

I would think hell would be rather expensive, given the toll it would theoretically take on your body and mental state.

It's damn good, as long as you don't expect it to be as open as Crysis 1. It truly is a corridor shooter (albeit with relatively big corridors, that have side-routes), and the nanosuit controls and functions are stripped down quite a bit. I didn't realize until the first time I tried playing it with a controller, that the changes really were made for the consoles. Still prefer the m/kb, obviously, for the precision of mouse aim, but the control change, compared to the first one, makes more sense when using a controller. Still though, judged on its own merits, and compared to other games it's more directly comparable to (ie: not Crysis 1), it's among the best, easily. And graphically stunning, despite more visually boring environments than the original. I've always played it on my laptop, at minimum settings, with like 30-40 fps, and that still looks good, and plays well. But just today my roommate got it going on his new system, so I got to see it completely maxed out, at 60 fps for the first time. Soooo good. Serious eye candy.

Lol. Probably, I guess.

Picked up Warhead. It's definitely still a great game. The graphics are phenomenal and blowing up Koreans is just as fun as it has ever been.

Crysis is a must have. It's a genuine classic.

The expansion, Warhead, and the sequel are both really fun and entertaining, but they aren't as good as the oriignal. On the whole though it's a very fun shooter series. Well worth it for those on the fence.
