[QUOTE="throwsomeDDs"]whats the new demo release day?cobrax25
a little under a month later.
"the Crysis single player demo will now be available everywhere on October 26th, 2007."
Figured this would happen but look at the bright side atleast we might get a better demo so we'll have a better view about the final game when its released. Just play FarCry over and over and run around the jungle pretending its actually the Crysis demo you'r playing lol1005
LMAO!! hahaha yeah and far cry is free now i hear...

it was free for 1 day not any moreThey are bringing the Sandbox editor 2 to the demo, now that is worth the wait! You can make your own levels now instead of just playing the demos provided mission. Real time editing is sweet!bignice12
unfortunatly you cant make multiplayer missions (no multiplayer in demo)
but I guess you can always try to make single player missions (even though those are damn hard to make)
[QUOTE="MadExponent"]Uh....****! Damnit Crytek I wanted to post Crysis screens in every Halo 3 thread that started...oh well.cobrax25
so did I :)
Same here, but I guess I will just have to play Halo 3 that day.[QUOTE="bignice12"]They are bringing the Sandbox editor 2 to the demo, now that is worth the wait! You can make your own levels now instead of just playing the demos provided mission. Real time editing is sweet!cobrax25

Supposedly the editor is going to be a bit more user friendly.

there is an entire demonstration of it up on the internet....yeah, its much easier then any other editor....
but scripting and stuff concerned with the single player experience is still much harder to do then simply making maps.
ok, and this is OFFICAL? come on guys, EA still has the countdown and Not news about this and is EA the offical sITE FOR THIS GAME AND PUBLISHER,,, jUST incrysis.com has this news, Type CRYSIS DEMO on google or Yahoo, and nothing about the demo being delayed appears,,,, Imean this could b wrong information, is kinda odd taht EA or nanosuit.com or Cryteck or anybody else besides INcrysis Dont have this news up in their sites.
OMG..Cyrtek can go to h@@@ for all I care now...I got my hopes up soooo high. I even bought a darn 8800GTS just because the demo was coming. I just can't say how mad i am right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!:cry::(gamer082009
And your 8800GTS wont still be in your computer when the demo is released? come on man don't get your panties in a twist because a demo is delayed. You should of expected this, in the gaming world delays and postponed games are a natural occurrence. Just breathe and relax, October 26th will come sooner than you think, especially if you own the OrangeBox!

scottahuch
Delayed until October 26th??? The day after my birthday! That's totally unexceptable! We're all going to die now because the demo was pushed back! My life is over! NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!
Phhfff....whatever. Who cares? Get over it...the demo will be out eventually. Or hey, maybe we'll be lucky enough where they scratch the demo and they make us wait for the actual game to come out before we can play after we spend $50 on it....yes, that's what I want! I want to see you demo-wanters to suffer! Hahahahahaha!

oh please stop acting like a bunch of pansies, ok, it's delayed, the world continues spinning and tens of thousands of poor little children horribly die each day in Afrika, how about worrying about real things and play that demo when it comes out.

Word bro! We'll have stuff to keep us busy until the Crysis demo :P
Orange Box pre-purchasers unite! :D
I'm glad the Frontline Fuel of War beta is going on to keep me busy. This game rocks!A1B2C3CAL
You got it, I love Fileplanet, they get all the betas plus the Crysis beta which is going on right now as well. I played Frontline last night for a while and so far it was excellent, this is going to be a great game. The beta is extrememly buggy though. The Crysis beta client is pretty unoptimized, but then again, it's a beta.
Releasing the Crysis demo ahead of time was a great idea, that way people could get a decent idea of how good it will run on their rigs, which in today's world of pc gaming, is important. If you ask me, they are behind, at least the beta is very unoptimized right now. I still have a feeling Crysis is going to get delayed until early next year. I know people don't want to hear it, but I don't think they are going to come this far to release something that isn't finished correctly.

Yea I got the beta for Frontlines and Crysis but i'm enjoying the Frontline Fuel of War beta alot more. i agree with you, I think they will delay Crysis until next year sometime.AFter I heard on how horrible the beta was running, I am hoping they delayed the demo to fix those problems.Wasdie
I think this is the main reason for the Demo delay, so they can continue optimising it more for people. Personally i'd rather a delayed and decent demo than one that came out on time and didn't impress much.
