Yes you can take down trees and chop them in pieces, also blow up those huts, however you can destroy fences or bigger buildings. There are games with more destrucion, the new red faction game for example.

Some of the buildings also seem to break the laws of physics as well when I'm breaking it apart.
Jeez how much detail you want? Its a multiplatform game, besides no other game has so much destruction, i wonder if crysis 2 will have building destruction...

Where did I say that I didn't like it? The destruction is great in the game and I love that the entire game is centered around destruction. I'm just pointing out the obvious here.
Yeah i know what you mean, but its too much about psychics laws nowadays than destruction, in the first red faction game you could create holes in the ground as deep as you wanted or creat rooms by blowing up walls and making caves. I doubt we will see something that good in the future.

The weird thing is the destruction in multiplayer is so much better, the buildings don't just fall through the ground, you can get building to break apart and roll down hills falling apart as they do... dunno why they made it so much worse in single player because you think it'd be the other way around.
