Crysis dethroned by Killzone2?!?!?

So the review of Killzone2 is out and the reviewer said best looking FPS EVER!! Ouch, so does that mean even better than Crysis? You can argue that Crysis has better visuals, but IMO this should not even be an issue. Why is a PS3 thats 6-7 years old competeing with technology 1-2 years old? That is kind of embarrassing. This is what I am talking about when I say PC hardware is whooping PC software.

I will say though that Crysis has thick vegetation, 100's of palm tree's, and a crazy view distance being mainly an outdoor game. This is much different than Killzone 2. I would find it hard to believe that a PS3 could pull that off.

Killzone 2 is far from being Crysis' equal, but since they get money from publicity (the ones that make reviews) they call it best game of the century not year (what happened with MGS 4 vs Warhead). Anyway stop troubling your head with pointless stuff like this, enjoy the game/games or find something else to do, seriously why do you or somebody else care about which is the best game? if you enjoy it you play it even if it's the worst of the year and nobody should care if somebody makes a biased comparison.

Also, PS 3 is 6-7 years old? since when? o_0

im actually glad that ps3's got killzone 2 , which would probably be a Crysis to them. Why I say glad? Coz pc getting all the sweet games this year >:)

Naw, i dont like playing fanboyism, the game looks really impressive IMO and I hate comparing everything to Crysis.

Imo crysis maxed is still the better looking but killzone 2 is close

I think Killzone 2 does look a lot better than Crysis.. it's amazing what Guerilla has managed to do on the PS3. But I think the only reason they can reach that level of fidelity is by creating a very linear game that doesn't have the type of draw distances and environment interactivity found in Crysis. The upside to that is having really detailed character and weapon models. The textures look great, too.

I wish it was on PC though, because then I could find a way to turn off the motion blur. It REALLY bothers me. And it's not subtle motion blur like what you can enable in TF2, it's really heavy.

Depends on the taste. I love the art style of KZ2 (except for your squad's characters).

I wasn't aware KZ2 was on PC and and the PS3 is already 6-7 years old...oh wait..it's not.
