Crysis High resolution Beta videos! (no 56k or even 256k for that matter)

Ok guys two things to keep in mind, the beta only has high settings, the max settings are not in it and neither is the option for DX10 stuff.

So what you are about to see is DX9 on high settings (Not max) and it still looks GODLY!

Are those really the lowest settings? (I thought the beta was locked to lowest settings, IE even if you set it on high it's still running on low). If so, that's amazing.Funkyhamster

The guy said he has to keep changing it back to the high settings, so your right it does do that, but I think these are high settings as he says hes getting 30 to 40 frames a second and he has a Core duo + GTX

Wow, I really need to update my computer. I don't even think my 7600GT will get anything near handleing this :cry:.

Dude those aren't low settings buddy, if anything all this means is even when it's set to low it's still running the game on high due to a bug.

i hope my 8600gts will run this on high

EDIT: because that is most likely the weekest part of my system

Just bloody amazing, this game deserves its own genre for its utter amazing-orgasmic-unbelievable-awesomeness!

Especially loved the way the watter dribbled off the spectator camera in the first video, that was just amazing attention to detail and utterly cool!

Probably will run just fine... maybe at high.

If it's gonna be as optimized as they promised, your machine should run crysis on high with no problem...

Some users just spend a lot of money on a monster pc and then start to create ridiculously high system requirements to self-justify their spent money.

And you can't read poo. Running best on quad core doesn't mean it's designed around quad core.

you said single core cpu and thats it. So one would figure you meant just single core cpu. The video is only like 4 mins long its close to the start when the intel guy starts talkin about the game around 1:30 time range

He said "Crysis has been optimized for Core 2 Quad and Core 2 Extreme processors." That's not the same as building the game around Quad Core processors.

As for the single core CPUs thing, sorry I worded it poorly. When I wrote "that is it," I meant "that is all they said," which is false after seeing this video.
