[QUOTE="BluRayHiDef"] The innovation in Crysis wasn't in the storyline or the setting, or making some kind of morally grey choices. It was where it needed to be. Emphasis and innovation went into the game-play, thus making it an extremely fun game.[QUOTE="Elann2008"][QUOTE="GeneralShowzer"][QUOTE="mitu123"]
Haters Gonna Hate dude.
People think they spent more time on graphics than gameplay.
Most didn't play it because the gameplay is what makes it so good.

I wish Crysis 2 was a PC only game :( I just know that Crysis 2 is gonna be seriously gimped, i just know it Will it be "gimped" compared to the original Crysis? Probably. By how much, I don't know. It's just that Crytek hardly made at money from the original. I heard the "profit" was like $25 million. Take it with a grain of salt. If my memory isn't wrong, Crysis didn't sell any better than the blockbuster games out there. Give and take, they probably needed more money so they could continue making more awesome games. :DWhere did you read that?
Well, the budget for Crysis was 20 million. If they made 25 million in the process i think that's a pretty good profit.
If PC was just a deadweight platform, they after project that big they would have simply fallen apart.
But no, with the money from Crysis they had the money to:
Make a new engine that will work on three separate platforms.
Buy out a new studio.
Start work on a 360 exclusive.
Obviosly they made plenty of profit. Nothing wrong with going multi-plat....but Crysis 2 i know there's gonna be much wrong with Crysis 2 :(I knew it when i saw some of the level design. COD obstacles everywhere.
Guess Crysis will remain one of a kind experience.
