Just wondering how to get it into DX9. Any help?

I got it through steam, so I suppose that will make a difference.

If you're in Vista or W7 the game can be execuded in DX9 instead of DX 10 changing the properties of the shortcut. Is very simple but I play it under XP, so Google it.

I think it works if you go to the launch options (right-click on Crysis in Steam > Properties > Set Launch Options...) and enter '-DX9'.

Easy way for somebody that doesn't like to edit things: Games Explorer, right click on Crysis, run in DX 9 mode.

If framerates are your issue, then disable anti-aliasing and max out "motion blur." You'll still get "Edge AA," which is plenty good enough, but the game will run smooth as butter in comparison...

I think all you have to do is not use very high settings.
