Crysis or COD4

hey guys,

i was wondering if i should get crysis or COD4. im looking for a game that will give me a long time of gameplay, but isnt too hard to beat. i heard that the multiplayer for crysis isnt that good, but the graphics are crazy. i was also wondering if COD4 is cross-platform. thanks in advance.

Crysis is harder to beat but longer. However CoD4 has a deeper MP. I would suggest CoD4 unless you have a REALLY good PC that can handle crysis

Go for cod 4 unless you have an awesome computer... I just bought crysis and I've decided to stop playing until the next gen of graphic cards... it's just unplayable at times in settings i don't want to go under... like medium...

and that's my rig which i thought wasnt horrible... amdX2 4200+, vista, 3gb of ram, and a 8800gts 320mb...

Call of duty 4 has an awesome multiplayer(which can last for a long time) and an action pack single player.. (too short though)

Crysis on delta isn't harder then CoD4 on veteran. Not saying that's a good thing though, almost was about to break the disk on veteran on the mission "One shot, One Kill". You have guys from almost all sides come for you, and they can get good shots at you from 50 yards away.

wtf? you spawn and die in every FPS. If you mean you die alot, don't suck then.

Crysis MP is a mess right now. It's really looking reminiscent of far cry's MP. onemic

Crysis MP is actually really good nothing like Far Cry's MP. Power struggle is a lot of fun.

I'm enjoying the the MP a lot also. Only problem I have is that the game will stutter once in a while and the targeting is a little BS. I mean, I go up to a guy with a shotgun and pop him two or threetimes in the head and doesn't die. Then the noob starts shooting at my feet with a pistol a couple of times and I die, WTF.

It's not the MP gameplay that's the problem, it's the complete lack of quality servers. So far the only dedicated servers I've found with punkbuster are european and for some odd reason the server won't let me join.

Ya sometimes I get lag while targeting also, hopefully when I get my 8800GT it will fix it. Also, as i've learned in beta, the shotgun sucks and you should never use it imo. Meh haven't been killed with a pistol too many times. But just wait until you encounter a server full of rocket noobs....it really sucks so bad cant wait for it to be fixed.

go for co4 with that card, youll kinda regret getting crysis now, I have crysis and im playin on med/low so imm upgrade soon.
