Last game was Call of Duty 4, I'm sure either of these two will be a let-down from it, but which one would you play next? Anybody play both of them yet and can call one more fun than the other?
Gears of War is far better but the problem with the PC version is it's just such a bad port which really lets the amazing experience down, i had sooo many moments in Gears where i was just thinking to myself "this is the Half-Life for the third person shooter genre" obviously not as innovative but on that quality. Just a shame that Epic couldn't be bothered to port it themselves and do it properly and a shame Microsoft put all this Live crap in it with no dedicated server options.
Crysis to me was a great game that you should play but the game was just lacking gameplay and story and characters, felt very generic and bland. It's just like they made a engine and let you play with it, doesn't feel so much like a proper game, the multiplayer is just really boring and horrible. It's a good game and i had some fun with the engine but it's just lacking what i said, more like Garrys Mod than HL2 if you get me.
