[QUOTE="FLAMEINSANE"]66C is perfectly fine. Once you hit about 80C I'd be worried for it to go higher. How are you measuring this btw?kruesader
he says he is getting artifacts and stuff though.
Missed that part. :P
Hey Man, Don't even think of not buying a better fan next time youre upgrading
Overheating may also be becoz of a small cabinet (CPU case) so if you have a small cabinet you'd better buy a better CoolerMaster Cabinet.
And you would also like to clean up any fans clogged with excessive dust because that reduces fan speed which in your case could be serious( Not to panic Dude :P )
So come November and your PC would be as cool as ice cream( Thats just an exaggeration  )
What do i do!? :(, I checked the temp and it seems to be reaching around 66 C. I guess thats bad, ive never seen it that high, the game locks up when it reaches these temps, then i get artifacts and it goes back to normal for about a minute or 2. I'm upgrading in Nov or Dec, so im not sure about buying another fan... unless i haf too :(darkfox101
Underclock your Graphics card, that will lower the temps. As long as you computer runs it at a good frame rate, it won't do anything.
If you want to fix the problem permanently, you can buy a new VGA cooler.
