Crysis Rate M Question

Hey guys first post, so first off hello. Question for you all. I just got my new alienware :-) and have been playing all the best BF2142, Americas Army, BF2, FSX, and more. Im not 17 and my parents are one of "No M games".

My question is.... the violence isn't too bad, but the concern is language (Not that school is worse or anything....). So yeah. How bad is the language. What kind of language is used and how much? I heard you can turn of blood in the main menu. How about Language? Thanks for the info!

have you tried the demo? i don't remember too much swearing when i played it. just show the demo to your parents and convince them that it's not too violent nor foul.

and get the orange box as well - no swearing there, except that uncontrollable 'THIS GAME IS ******* GREAT!' that's bound to come out of your mouth.

I heard the 'F Word' twice and the 'S Word' a few times. The latter isn't scripted, so it can happen any time you shoot at a Korean soilder.kodex1717

Language is rare but it's bad whenever the content is used.

As for violence, it's pretty minimal. You have a choice to take out blood anyway.

Indeed, but with a Ferrari you're getting what most would consider a very high end, high performance automobile. In the case of an Alienware PC, you're generally getting a mid-high end computer, when for less money you could have built a really high end rig yourself.

I think blood is turned off by default in the menu, those crazy Germans seem to have a problem with game violence also. The koreans will say things like "die like a f***ing dog!" but when you play on Delta difficulty then they speak Korean so you can't understand what they say. Your American friends in the game will say the s-word or the f-word a few times, but it is not frequent. If your parents won't go for it, just tell them you can turn all bad content off in the menus essentially making it a T game and play the game with headphones :)Colonel_Cool
