At first I was getting 15-22 fps, which is below what I should be getting with the Evga superclocked 8800gt 512mb. I already had the drivers from the cd that came with the video card installed, but was told to install the latest drivers from nvidia for better performance. I downloaded and installed the 169.25 drivers from nvidia and when I went to play Crysis again I was getting 2 fps. Not only that, but when I play the UT3 demo the gameplay is really choppy. What am I doing wrong? I'm running the game in DX10, high settings at 1366x768(HDTV's native res)

Specs: E6750 stock speeds, Evga 8800gt, 2GB of GSkill Ram

Make sure you don't have loads of unneccessary processes running in the background. Try and reduce it to as minimum a number as possible then try again.

169.25 is horrible, its not only you, check forums over the web and you will find that everybody is flaming this driver. The best so far is 169.21 i guess.

I found out that it was a driver issue. The 169.25 nvidia driver I downloaded was a pos, and I am going to unistall that and install the 169.21 drivers. There's a ForceWare 169.28 beta driver out there for download, you guys think I should try that? Anybody tried those new drivers?

You can try them but they don't have to work correctly with all applications so...

Also try to complitely uninstall the graphic drivers( there's lots of leftovers after simple uninstall), to do that u can use Driver Sweeper or Driver Cleaner and then install new one.

Check your temperatures also couse this 20fps is strange, maybe something is overheating?
