Which is more hardware demanding?

If you go by minimum requirements GTA IV is but it really shouldn't be more demanding than Crysis unless Rockstar did some poor coding. While I haven't played GTA IV for PC I have a hard time seeing it as more visually stunning than Crysis.
I ll put it this way brother.. the card for a game that needs to work on the lowest settings in crysis is an 6800 128 MB, and it plays on lowest settings... An 8600 gt 512 mb can give you medium an 8800 gt high and very high in xp! Gta iv claims that the video card you need to play it is an 7900 128 mb, however even with the recommended 8600 gt not 512 but 1024..LAGS TERRIBLY, i mean not even 20 fps how the hell is playable? So id say gta 4 is more demanding... Some day in the future we will be able to max it.... as rockstar games claims the high specs are made for the next generation of hardware...... right.... But in crysis warhead they prove how well they can optimize a game!As of right now GTA4 is more hardware demanding, even thought it shouldn't be.

You must not mind terrible lag if you think an 8800GT will run Crysis at high or very high.
Crysis is more demanding in a purely correct sense. GTA was just a horrible port which demands more than it should actually need.cru3That

Terrible lag? i play it on very on xp? wtf? check youtube!EHMM GUYS READ THIS i set GTAIV on the highest possible graphics settings in my friend's 9600 GSO No lag a lot of antialised textures even in the highest resolution possible, BUT THER ARE NO BUILDINGS..ok most times there are but sometimes appear and dissapear... or i look behind me and the building is so bilinear and blurry but i see some buildings dissapear.. but the fences reappear ...WTF? lol what do you prefer lag and graphics... or super performance and no graphics? So crysis is more demanding gta iv is just broken and doesnt run.... Also mercs 2 rungs terrible in 8600 gt but unbelivably great on 9600 GSOHellboardI have same problem
