Ok, I have a ATi Radeon x300 SE Hypermemory video card, and I enjoy playing cs. I know cs is an old game and I have some questions maybe you can help.

any map, my fps changes from 99-100 so inbetween there. Is there a way to get a constant 100?

Also whenever there is smoke, my fps drops down to about 40-50 fps and it really sucks

Maybe someone can help me out

I have 2gb of ram, and my processor Intel(R) Pentium(R) D CPU 2.80GHz

the reason for the 99-100 switch is just coding in game. My 8800ultra gets the 99-100 issue its 1fps anyway haha you will NEVER notice. The smoke grenades can be turned down to raise your frames per second at the expense of visual quality. Just search google for "lower smoke grenade quality in CS" should bring up the console command to tone it down a bit since i cant seem to remember it off the top of my head : )

happy killing.
