Hey I just have two questions about CS: 1.6. I just googled it, and there seems to be a free download for it. Do I need the original Half Life to play this 'free download'. Also, are the graphics in CS 1.6 any improved over Half Life? I know theres CS: Source, but I've heard 1.6 is better. Anyways...

CS: 1.6 is not free. You must have a steam account and I think you have to purchase it.

Your probably thinking of 1.5 which was the mod version of CS. Now, you have to buy 1.6. But it's only 9.95 and you don't even need to purchase Half-Life as steam will download the GCF file for you.

Also source is a lot more than enhanced graphics. Many say it's easy for several reasons:

1) less recoil on all guns

2) larger models, especially head (about 80% increase of head hitboxes)

3) lack of walling
