Topic. It seems everytime that I am in a knife fight or a situation to knife I always lose. Is there some sort of secret to get into position properly or something? I right-click btw. Any tips?

just got to know the distance to stab, try to get them from behind (run passed them and turn). Sometimes its better to strike shortly after they do, as they have a short down time. Try to fake them into stabbing you and then stab them on the rebound.

Well you already go the first part: Right-clicking

The second part is just practice. Plain an' simple. After a while you can correctly judge at what distance to click and stuff.

play lego land to build up ur knifing skills its really all about practice so u can get the timing right.

Try to practice with bots. Create your own server and play with bots and uncheck the boxes for the weapons they can use and they will just try to knife you. Just practice with bots and you will get better. Try expert.

use right click and try to fool the other person into striking so they miss

Like the people on the topic said..timing and possibly some tactics will definitely help you. Really its just timing though and accuracy of course. CSS is a game that the more you play it more skillfull you get to some degree...even if the hitboxes are a bit out of shape.
