I dont know what else you were expecting, the majority of gamers always have been malebetween the ages of roughly 12 and mids 20's (and that age gap is gettting older as the years go on)
I didn't have an atari, had an Intellivision. Of course I've always played games sense I was a child but computer games didn't come out until my early 20s. My dad had a friend that had a small Apple computer with a Star Trek type game. My first computer was a Tandy with 2 51/4 inch drives and a hdd my dad got from where he worked. Starflight 1 and 2 where my favorites at the time.
