Wow you guys okay so my cousin braught me his pc, told me there is no display coming from it anymore, and he had it for 2 weeks. so i tell him it's the motherboard. usually is. cause his video card works.

okay so few days later (today) i get the new motherboard. i was confident it would work. yet to my surprise, no display again! oh and yes it does power up and i can hear and see the LED fans on.

So i go ahead and remove the video card and use the onboar geforce 8200. no display again... so then i remove the cd/dvd drive, and the hard drive made both not connected at all. still no display...

I then change the powersupply, using the one from my pc (which works) and then replace the ram using the RAM from my pc (works too) and still no display!

Then i remove any other devices such as wireless card. (no sound card on pc, only use onboard) and i change the cpu too.... yet again NO DISPLAY!!

finally i reset the cmos... still no display

I've built many many PCs and this is the first time i've experienced this, anyone know what is wrong? and before you ask, yes all the cables are connected. it was working before, i built this system for him, all of a sudden no display and i havent been able to get it since. it's a 2week old pc and here are the specs

AMD AM2 6000+ 3.0Ghz Dual Core

320GB seagate SATAII 3.0Gb/sec

BIOSTAR TForce TF8200 A2+ Motherboard AM2/AM2+ support

2x Wintec AMPX 2GB PC2 800 (4GB total)

7600GT 256MB

Maybe it's the monitor and not the PC? Have you tested it on another system?

So basically from what I understand you have used your CPU, RAM and powersupply from your own pc on his motherboard using even the onboard video and still nothing displays? This really only leaves 2 possible problems, either the 2nd motherboard you got for him is also dead or something isn't hooked up correctly. If it's neither, i'm stumped.

it just happent to me as well twice in 2 weeks don't know why, and still working on it now, how I solve it, I just pull out the CMOS battery , power off, and leave it for 1-2 hours, first time I left it hole night and than I had to flash bios with my mobo disk, try it, I think is something called "cold boot", doesn't work pull off power from the plug leave it 5min try again
