Phenom II X2 3Ghz

4GB's of RAM (its cheap)

ATI 4870 or 5850 (go for the 5850 if you can afford it)

500W PSU

Samsung F3 1TB (its cheap and the fastest hdd ever)

---------

Yeah, this is probably the BEST build for World of Warcraft. Also dont waste your money on a dedicated network card.

oh please, a dual core with 4 gigs of ram and a 4850 will eat WoW up, why get a computer than could chew through anything out there just for WoW?

+1 For an MMO 50fps is more than acceptable not only that but for the price the 4850 is stunning and runs almost every game on the highest settings with the exclusion of the obvious.

build for WoW

WWhat about this build. All from www.overclockers.co.uk This build is £84 under your budget so you could stretch to a ati 4850 if ya wanted.

WTF? I did suggest a dual core with 4GB's of RAM, also as the benchamrk showed a 4870 would run the game a 60fps....doesent seem like overkill to me.

That's a decent build jamesfffan suggested but if you want you could get away with spending even less, this build will play WoW just as well if not slightly better for a bit less cash.

WoW build on OCUK

I've included 2 extra fans to put as intakes on the front of the case to keep the graphics card nice and cool.

Well i wouldnt call 60fps overkill,,,its nice and smooth with a little leeway for future updates.

It's worth noting that the graph with the benchmark results is using 8x AA, 4x AA is plenty the difference is barely noticeable and would allow the 4850/GTS 250 to exceed 60 FPS.

Nice but get a graphics card with a blower style cooler instead.
