It's bizarre that it would be released in just Russia, or at least you'd think there'd be some official news or announcements or something, maybe it'll get announced at GDC? Gamedaily and Strategyinformer list release dates for a pc version of March 25 and April 15 respectively.

Yeah, I read somewhere it's exclusive to Russia, no publishers have decided to pick up the game for any other markets.

Seems odd, especially since the port is apparently done at this point (anyone know if the Russian retail version includes both Russian and English language options?) but perhaps the distribution costs involved outweigh the sales risk. Even then, perhaps they could do digital distribution only for other regions? But who knows what all the obstacles are.

Anyway, if someone really wants to play the game and it's an option, you should be able find it relatively cheap on the consoles. Not 100% sure I'd want to jump through hoops to buy the Russian version, but if it were easily available as a title on the PC otherwise, I could see myself being tempted enough to check it out ;)

I have the game in russian. There are instructions online on how to switch the voices to English. Just an easy RegHack nothing more. There are also minidvd's of the game out already. However, to warn you, the game uses StarForce which is filled with s***. I'm waiting for a StarForce patch because SF software is filled with bloatness that f**ks up your computer.shazam_lp

What about text in the game? Does that remain Russian?

i am playing this game in pc , no matter its in Russian Language. its a great game , every gamer must play this beautiful game.

if can't play in russian language , then first join a Russain Instituate to learn this language.

It's really not a good game. I rented it for the 360 and returned it the next day, it's not even worth a rental. SuperBeast

Language = en To enables english subtitles : 1 - Make a folder called 'backup' in your desktop and copy "H.Misc.cache" and "H.Misc._ru.cache" located on x : Dark SectorCache . Windows 2. Then copy H . Misc . cache folder from Cache . Windows to destktop . Now rename this file ( Just add _ru at the end ) Now H . Misc . cache file , became H . Misc_ru . cache in our desktop . Copy this file to its original place . Click yes if any owerwrite prompt or question . YOU SHOULD HAVE TWO 17 MB OF FILES . One of them is H . Misc . cache and the other is H . Still waiting for that bloody 64-bit fix to download, I didn't know it doesn't have support for it before I ordered and can't play at home since it regularly crashes.
