no matter how many times i hit him his health just seems to hang there. i got tired of dying so i found a trainer, god moded myself and even jacked my strength up to the max. still nothing. its just the same block/perry and attack. i am using the giant demon club from the Asylum so i am dealing massive damage (almost 400) and it is upgraded to +2. is this a glitch for the pc or what? also on a side note, am i the only one that notices that the tutorials are set up for the 360 even tho it is the pc version?

Are you hitting his shield? In that case you would do zero dmg. Just circle around to his back side after he swings and back stab him.
Also, as far as strength goes. The stats are different in this game. High str doesn't turn you into the incredible hulk. Stats are tied to weapons. With high str you will do high damage with a str multiplier on the weapon, but it won't cause you to be able to knock a guy on his butt nor do damage through a havels shield. Knocking people back is tied to the weapon.
As far as the trainer goes, turn that crap off when you play multiplayer.
i am playing single player (trainers are ment for single player in my opinion). i am actually hitting him, usually dealing about 350 damage. i have been parrying him and doing the counter attack because i hit almost 400 with it. i should be atleast doing some sort of affect on his health but he is showing no signs of damage
Trainers can effect some NPC health levels too. If you are using an infinite health trainer toggle the infinite HP off then turn it back on after you kill it.
ah okay thank you. i can try that but before the trainer he wasn't going down either. and sorry for all the bumps. i kept getting "504 gateway error". so i refreshed
again i said im sorry, i ment to use bump once. my internet crapped out and i kept getting something that says bad gate way. also how am i supposed to get a response? and ill try the back stab method but i doubt he has over 100,000 health. wow is cool if you like cartoony games. i like the heavier graphics. more gore and realistic stuff is what i prefer
Hitting him whilst his shield or weapon isn't blocking should still do damage but it won't do a whole lot. You're best bet is to roll kinda into him but past his side when he attacks, then get him in the back. I don't think he does any other attack than an overhead attack. I'd help you but I don't think you would be in my soul level range.
Restarting will probably fix it. That's the usual solution to bugs like this.
Disappointed to hear that the controller might be causing this. They said the mouse wasn't great either. Makes me wonder if the game will be too frustrating with either option.
