are there any good visual novels or dating sims any one can reccomend me?

Heavy Rain is kind of a visual novel.

Cinders from Moacube looks really good but isn't finished quite yet.Katawa Shoujo is free and I've heard amazing things from the guys on the GOG/RPS forums.

Max Payne sort of visual novel.:P

There is sex in KS but can be turned off. The sex scenes aren't like in most VNs though. They are not there to server as fanservice fap material. Except from one, which is pure trolling and the only bad part of the game. Also, don't forget, there are more boards on 4 chan than just the ones that became famous for the trolling and memes and the hateful attitude.

Anyway. Stein's Gate is awsome, as well as Chaos;Head.

Actually, I'm recommending it based on the anime and a friend's recommendation, it shocks me that neither Atlus, Aksys, Ignition or XS Games haven't translated the 360 or PSP versions. Seriously, otakus like me would go berserk if they announced it.
