Doesn't matter. They could have written a story that included the Tyranids in SP, or included Tyranids as an MP-only race. Either options would not have been unnatural to the setting of the game universe.

Yeah, it's a shame. At least there are still some enterprizing modders willing to fill in this particular blank.

Not for a while. Relic is currently busy with Opposing Fronts for CoH at the moment. Probably the usual - gaunts and genestealers for troops, Carnifex and such for tanks, Biovores for arty (capped at 3 of course), and probably a Hive Tyrant for duking it out with Avatars and Bloodthirsters.
yeah im a sell out, but i love mah space mar33ns. nothing is more satisfying than a flamer or heavy bolter squad taking out large groups of orks or IGCrucifier
I like the Imperial Guard somewhat, cause they got those kickass mg emplacement troops but there infantry suck major dookie (i die really fast), i gots to go witthe space marines cause they hit teh sweetspot
I'd have to say chaos- the possessed marines are practically invincible. Pity they put a cap on them in the expansion. Eldar are fun to play too- they can be really powerful if you kow how to use them right.

They are super humans, capable of loving up to hundred's of years if they don't get killed, the fact that they use a boltter and a Guardsman use a lasgun
I love this game but it has serious balance problems. Play as necrons and just build power generators and cap a few points and you can mass Necron Warriors (which are way to strong) before anyone else has anything that can match them. Its to easy to rush with. Only Chaos Raptors can hold a candle to Necron Warriors in early game.
