Dawn of War:Soulstorm(demo)

I am sure there's a lot of DOW fans around here, so get ready Dawn of war fans, in less than a week, we will be able to play Dawn of war:soulstorm demo. :)

The demo will feature Dark Eldar as playable faction(full tech tree),it will have a skirmish with one or two maps and a single player camp mission. Like I said, you can play the whole Dark Eldar faction, you will get to see their new air unit and their Relic unit(Dias of Destruction.) You will get to see their superweapon like abilty called "Soulstorm." And you will play aganist space marines, and you will see their new air unit in action.

There are 2 awesome previews of the demo, one from IGN and the other from Gamespy. It contains tons of new info. :)

Ah, so I was right then, Asbrudael Vect is the Dark Eldar relic unit.

I wonder how true to the fluff they'll make the Sisters Repentia aesthetically. I mean, it is an M-rated game, surely they wouldn't need to cover up a few nipples to stay within the boundaries of that rating.

The Witcher has a lot more than nipples. There's full-blown airstrip exposure in that game, so I can understand why it needed to have a censored version to maintain a Mature rating (I don't agree that it should need one, but I can understand it).

I don't know if the latest models are the ones shown on GW's site, but they look like they still show nipples to me.

I hope they have this on steam on launch, maybe even pre-load. Do want. Lets hope the game runs just as well as previous games. However... when we gonna get our tyranids? Hmm?EndersAres

DoW2. Relic doesn't feel the current game engine would do the Tyranids justice (meaning, the way the system of pop caps works and the pathing restrictions of the maps wouldn't fit well with the Tyranids, according to them).

The same as all previous DoW games. It's just an expansion, it adds few, if any, graphical improvements.

Yeah, I liked how they added extra lighting effects, shaders, etc. to the in-game graphics to give it a more atmospheric look for that intro. Obviously it's still nowhere near as awesome to watch as the original DoW intro, but it's a hell of a lot better than the crappy Dark Crusade one that added hardly any effects and was just generally rather underwhelming.

Knew about the Hell Talon, Fighta Bomba, Nightwing, and Marauder. I figured the Tempest would be the Space Marine air unit, most others seemed to think it would be the Thunderhawk, but I knew that was unrealistic. I'm very happy to see the Necrons getting the Deceiver, that's what I wanted, baby!

By the way, the Sisters of Battle get the Lightning and the Dark Eldar get the Raven.

It's pretty commonly accepted that Thule is a pathetic pissant, and that he is one of the worst, if not the worst, VA jobs in all of DoW. Such a shame since Gabriel had one of the best VA jobs in the game.

I have to ask this as well. I thought it was confirmed that the only new units the old factions were getting would be the air units (except for Necrons).
