Cool, but what is it for?flyingsnail
It's what played over your speakers when you were installing Windows 95 back in the day. Good times, good times.
Seriously though, it's just a file that you can go to test a program that plays midi files to see if it works
Also, no one's mentioned flourish.mid yet either.
lol i knew this for a while but it the best Easter Egg of microsoft because it say 39KB files common ? how 39KB last 4 minute lol and it like as remix of classic song + song related to First NEs / SNES RPG that i remember playing on emulator as kid But it seem to have used only 12 bits so far in it peak for audio channel

yes i tough so.. but even so it very compresed if it was really the size for 4 minute of 8 bits to 12 bits audio : i can't relly tell if it pure 8 bits but you can be sure it not higher then 16 bits maybe some unstandart 10-14 bits cause 8 bits usally as much a bit less sound going out at same time doesn't they ?
can't find it whas like Snes 16 bits or nes 8 bits
Do you know what midi files are lol? Ok, I'll admit its just a midi file, but its sounds pretty good, and i'm not a musician or anything, but it really does sound like a piano/keyboard and a saxophone.
Did a quick search on Google for Win7 easter eggs, and this little gem caught my eye. Follow this procedure.
Create a new folder (preferably on the desktop where it's easily accessible), and rename the folder (everything in bold):
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
Literally, it's pretty much Godmode for Win7 or Vista. Everything for managing the OS is right there in one well organized menu.
