I paid $50 for this digital coaster, terrible purchase. I've gotten more out of single player games. The game isn't fun enough to even survive free to play once you get past character creation.
I loved this game until I maxed my level (less than a month), at which point, I found little reason to continue. I think f2p is a good direction for this game. I hope that free users get to keep their toons and don't have to create a new character.
Ah DCUO one of the worst purchases i made this year, only played 10days of the 30 day free period you get when you buy it. Didnt have anything special about it.

I feel the same. After that Sony hacking stuff, they gave me 45 free days, played about 45 seconds. I even made a "review" which was just more of a rant about stuff I wanted to get off my chest :P
I won't be playing it. I'm taking a long break from MMOs and sticking with traditional games for now. I will be playing Torchlight 2 and Diablo 3 trying out lots of different builds. After that I will probably look into Skyrim. I want to try my hand at modding too. I think MMOs have inferior gameplay to regular games. They are a lot of fun with friends, but the gameplay is overall worse.
F2P is becoming the popular method hey look on the brightside PLanetside 2 will also be free to play which can really help out a game that revolves around incredibly high player counts.
