ddr2 or ddr3?

i am planing to upgrade to a q6600 soon, right now i am using ddr1, but i want to future proof so should i get a ddr3 mobo?

Because current CPU's FSB too low. I think there won't be a big advantage if iuse DDR3. Or you can oc a DDR 800 to higher.

DDR3 these days is slower than DDR2 cause of its high latencys. And whit your procesor i wouldnt suggest going for that CPU.

i would buy the gigabyte board with both kinds and use ddr2 untilpenryn and ddr3 are more affordableinyourface_12
