yea I saw this earlier. I'll be interested in details of the game itself. I really liked the first one despite the hate it got.darksusperia
I didn't know it got hate??? I agree it was way too buggy to be released like that, but didn't they fix the bugs. I liked the idea just couldn't get into it since I don't have friends to co-op... :(
the bugs caused hate for alot of people IIRC. The game was very ambitious in what it wanted to do. the patches fixed alot of it up. I personally had no issue. None of the save corruption or anything like that. I think a combination of release pressure/ lack of, not enough QA, and whatnot lead to its not so spectacular start. Unfortunate but thats how the industry is of late.

I actually bought it full price cause my friends were going to play it, but then they decided to play it late night hours where I was already asleep. I then tried to play it Single Player but it's not as fun.

Maybe I just didn't give it a good go, but I could tell it was more fun with Co-Op. I'm into Zombie mood again though (watching Season 2 of the Walking Dead). I might try Dead Island again and also plan on purchasing "The Walking Dead" Game from Telltale.
Season 2 was pretty good, apart from the break they had in the middle which split the season. Season 3 starts in around a month, which Im looking forward to.

The TV show right? lol. Yeah, Season 1 was ok but just too slow on most of it. Up to Episode 4 on Season 2 and so far great.Season 2 is a lot slower than season 1 :P
I hope the 2nd is more like the first...I didn't play Dead Island for story...I played it to explore a huge island and hack zombies to bits with endless amounts of cool weapons. I didn't even play the expansion they released because that's what it was focused on (story)...blah. Anyways loved the first game can't wait for this one :)
I can see what they're going for with their trailers, except that the actual game is nothing like it lol. Elann2008

Both the trailers have been very well done with their serious and emotional tone but then you play the game and it's an arcade beat'em up...such a shame.
