Dead rising 2 was a complete dissapointment.
There where so many issues so I'll just try to name some of them:
- The story- it was very poor, I didn't feel any compassion for the characters or wanted to hear about them more.
- The main character -the tipical "cut off" from action movies, he is so tough that when some guy at the beggining doesn't know his doughters name he acts like a jerk about it saying in a rude voice: HER NAME IS BLA BLA!!!!! he is such an outsider to others and yet a loving father to his doughter - what a diversity of the character!! (irony)
- The time limits- this has to be one of the most idiotic ideas in the modern gaming! For some reason I am forced to constantly rush in a free roaming game where all the fun should be exploring. There are lot's of weapon combinations, but it doesn't matter I won't be having time to play abound with them
- The combat -it leaves so much to be desired. Press mouse 1 for a simple swing and hold it for a stronger swing. Sorry I wish that in the game where 90% of the time I'm killing zombies they would offer me a bit more variety. The combat seemes like it was taken from GTA III.
- The psychos -they were marketed as very unique part of the game and that you will have to figure them out in order to kill them. But in reality they are just enemies that are made way too strong, and actually it's one of the weaker parts of the game.
- Weapons break too quickly! -like ten swings with a bat and it's gone.
- Lots of weapons doesn't necesarally mean it can save the game -sure a lot of weapons you can use is a plus, but it seemed like a riddiculious GTA mod where you get all kinds of crazy guns.
Your thoughts?

You had one good point...........the feeling you have to rush everywhere same with the first game thats why i ended up stopping playing, still a good game though i just hate rushing.Yeah that was my only problem with the game. Weapons breaking just sound like you don't know how to deal with that, especially when its one of the few games people actually rave about that feature in. Also, using "lots of weapons" as a complaint seems... I don't know, like trying to force in one last bad thing, but all you have left are good things? And honestly, would you rather have a caring father figure motorcyclist main hero, or Space Marine #4562789568 to play as? Complaining about him being too much like others and not being likeable is a stretch at best and a complete farce at worse, even if he isn't the best character ever he's far from a bad character.
And you know, like I said, this seems like total blog stuff. No real room for debate or discussion, just someone telling us his negativethoughts on a two year old game.
Yes I know how to deal with that, I just don't like it. "And honestly, would you rather have a caring father figure motorcyclist main hero, or Space Marine #4562789568 to play as?" - Come on, that's not an argument and you know it! So according to you, I can't criticize anything in the world as long as something worse exists? Like if I go to a restaurant and have a soup served that tastes horrible and ask the waiter about it he should say well at least it's not some dirt with nails in it! Or if I have an awful friend that talks behind the back and uses me for his own good, I can't complain because you might say " honestly, would you rather have a jerk for a friend, or Hitler himself as a friend?" Why do I have to choose between something bad and horrible? Why not just make him a more developed character? If something is better than something awful doesn't mean that it itself isn't bad. Also I wasn't complaining about lots of weapons, I thought I was pretty clear stating that it was a PLUS. But I believe they pretty much built the whole game on this premise and I just don't think it's enough.
