Personally I can't see Deadspace 2 shifting many copies on the PC. So if multiplayer is important to you then you would be better to get the console version to ensure there are plenty of people to play against/with.
I playe the original on the 360 because my old rig wasn't capable of running it. I haven't quite decided if I"m getting the new one on the PC or 360. Likely it will be the PC since I am not paying for a gold acct. for multiplayer, and the extra 10 bucks pisses me off. Plus I can get it through Steam and hopefully preload it.
I wasn't impressed by the graphics from the 360 demo so I'll be getting the PC version. I'm not sure how much better the full game will look on the 360, but it can't be any better if history is anything to go by. The console version is going to be more popular, obviously.
