Which is the better game to get on Steam?

I can't give an opinion about Amnesia as I never played it, but Dead Space is definitely worth it for this price, and even more. Spectacular game.
[QUOTE="Threesixtyci"]Amnesia is 4.80 if you have any other Penumbra games, in your library....THGarrettYep, so glad I waited for the daily deal. I'm sure the people that bought it for $10 are kicking themselves at this moment.
i preodered it for 15 dollars and it was so worth it. i would have paid a full 50

They shouldn't be. Frictional Games deserves the money. Considering that they almost put themselves out of business over the development of it, and still managed to put out a game that punches well above its weight. The contrast in budgets would probably put mainstream developers to shame.
I would recommend both, but if you only want one get Amnesia.
Both games are great. I'd say Dead Space if you want too blast your way through monsters with awesome weapons. Amnesia if you want to go stealthy, and go through great scares. Amnesia is scarier than Dead Space in my opinion. If it's not scare you're going for, then Dead Space is the choice.

Just force vsync and triple buffering from your Nvidia/AMD panel, and increase the x and y sensitivity through your mouse software configuration. The forced-on vsync and triple buffering alone will take away the lag and you won't have screen-tearing at all. If you turn off vsync in the application settings to take away the input lag, it will just leave you with MASSIVE screen-tearing. Follow my instructions and it should work wonders for you. No, there hasn't been a patch fix.Did they ever fix the horrible mouse lag in Dead Space?

amnesia is miles better. walking sideways slowly down the halls just ruined dead space for me... I couldn't stop thinking I would rather play doom 3.
Well, i've never played amnesia, but i may pick it up as well.
I can tell you that i hated Dead Space. The Story was good, but the controls were to crappy to keep me interested.
[QUOTE="Memoryitis"]If you owned Penumbra they took 2 bucks off. aww sweet! I got penumbra for 68 cents LOLwoot amnesia is finally on sale! I got it for 4.80 for some reason

Thanks. Doing what you suggested made the game playable.
I'm disappointed by the lack of poll here, especially because it's one of your thread, AFBrat... I recommend Dead Space.flipin_jackass
Haha good point....I do tend to be "Poll happy".
Thanks for all the replies guys, I said "Heck with it" and bought them both.
