Dead Space ...out of ammo

Is there a way to enter a cheat code with my keyboard for PC with this game? I am entering a room full of aliens (lots) and I am completely out of ammo and credits and my last and only save is also useless. I can't find another way out of this mess I got myself into. Oh ya ....I don't own a 360 controller.

i played till the 10th mission and iam stuck on the 10th mission

thing is i cant find the 3rd card which u need to activate the sleep chamber

did the nooby thing of playing a that ball game and then just cant find a way thru

I don't know of any for PC. Where are you exactly?

There's not much you can do if you run out of ammo. Your best bet would be to backtrack and find as many explosive objects as possible then bring them to that room before going in. I also can't imagine that you're completely out of credits. Try sellinig any weapons and health packs you have.

credits to buy guns? I thought you were stranded on a spaceship infested with aliens with scavenging and your wits as only your survival tools... are there vendors around every corner or something? :|F1_2004

Ah I see, so in the future, industrial mining ships come equipped with vending machines selling three different types of beverage, and ammunition. Makes for a friendly working environment, I bet.

I was thinking "Insert schematic then pay for materials used." I think it's pretty cool when you step into the store and it fits you up with a new suit.

Wow, I swear, I'm at the worst spot for having nearly no ammo, and nearly no credits, I backtracked grabbed a bit more ammo, went to the store, bought a little bit of ammo with like 3k credits, went back, and there is absolutely no way I don't think of killing these things, I'm on the 'Impossible' difficulty, chapter 8, where you're going to go repair the comms net or w/e, I go up the elevator, (The bridge elevator) get up there, and there are the 2 thing's on the walls, shooting those stupid blob things that shoot things at me! I have no clue at what to do here, I'll keep trying to get past, but it's pretty much IMPOSSIBLE right here, as the difficulty says, if anyone has any ideas or ANYTHING that you think could help, please, tell me. Find an explosive canister.

I really never had any problems with ammo/creds on impossible. I had a fully upgraded Pulse Rifle by chapter 4. It takes off limbs in a snap. Only thing I have trouble with are those 'dog' like ones because their arms are much closer to their body and harder to hit. I still have so much ammo that I run out of room and plenty of creds to buy more.

to solve everyones ammo issue just download a trainer which is a small program that you run in the background on your computer while running the game, all you have to do is hit the hot key for the cheat you want to activate and there you go problem solved..

note that the trainers will most likely show up as a virus on most anti virus programs so just disable them or ignore the warnings

also the higher the number by the trainer is the more cheats it can activate for instance +10 is better than +2

Ouch, there's a nice surprise for you in Chapter 9. You'll probably waste twice as much ammo. Good luck, lol

I was dumping out ammo.. I had so many. I don't mean to assume, but I think you're the type of gamer that doesn't search his environment. On top of that, you can buy ammo from the "store" located throughout the game. There plenty of stores, as much as there are save points.

And it's easy to blow through clips if you're shooting the aliens wrong. Make sure to shoot off their limbs, arms, tentacles, and heads. It's easy to waste a lot of ammo if you dont know what you're doing.

Sell your guns. Buy them back for 0 credits but they will not have the attachments you gave them but now you will have money.

I always seem to run out of ammo in this game ...does anyone else have this problem ...it's kind of recks it i think. trying to back track and find a store if you can.ME_BOT

It's from seach engine hits.  And IMO it's constructive as a bump so long as it provides additional info on a problem, because of the fact it's from a search query.
