I was looking at purchasing Dead Space from the EA Store, but I saw a notice about Windows 7.

The webpage said the game was XP and Vista.

I was going to go with the Digital Download until I saw the OS - I'm thinking the EA Downloader would install under Windows 7 (Registry, etc.).

Given that, would changing the Icon to run the game under Vista fix it, or would an install under Win 7 mess that up?

I always thought anyhting Vista is Windows 7 compatible...

I always worried about whether it is 32 or 64 bit compatible.

It would work on Win 7. But why don't you buy it from Steam? It's currently on sale, so hurry up and get it there!

Good point. I really appreciated seeing "optimized for 64-bit" on the back of the box for DMC 4.

EA is selling it for $13.37, which isn't a bad price.

It's $6.80 on Steam. And it works perfectly in Win 7 64-bit. Hurry up though. It will be gone in 10 minutes.

I have to admit, when I saw the wording on the webpage about the OS, it worried me a little.:P
