Deadly premonition dir cut for PC

Deadly premonition Directors cut released a few days ago for PC. I have read a lot of complaints about framerates,controls,etc. Has anyone played it? Also does it have a retail release for PC?

Worst pc port ever.

No gamepad support,no graphical options,locked res at 720p and poor optimization.

Do not support lazy and incompetent devs.

I don't really see why people are calling them lazy for the control scheme. They took the time to make the game playable on the PC with mouse and keyboard controls, when plenty of ports don't even do that.

I agree, the PC platform went through a sort of dark age at start of the console generation. We were getting terrible ports, unreleased games, no DLC support, long delays etc. For the past few years, developers and publishers have finally stepped up their game and started treating the PC platform with a standard of respect and care.

It sickens me when we get games like Dark Souls and Deadly Premonition and they are such poor ports. They tramble over the recent history of the PC platform. They set a terrible example for the platform. These games will sell well on the PC because of the name alone, not because they are quality products.

I third this. Good-great games at its core but sh!tty ports. Sorry, I can't support that.

This game sucks donkey balls.

Correction: the game itself is brilliant, and one of the most charming and absorbing titles I've played this gen.

Thanks for the info. I was interested in buying this on sale, but I won't bother anymore. The port seems dreadful, shame because the story looked good.

I have it on 360, PS3 and PC. Every version of this game is a sh!tty port. It's like there was no original platform this game was actually developed for.
