Survival mode is going to be very intense...tanks spawning every 10 seconds, I think I'll cry :o

It looks like they just took a portion of the map and slopply slapped on a new game mode (I atleast expected some sort of modded enviroment, I didn't expect it to be an exact copy with a few doors locked). All it's going to be is a never ending crescendo moment, but you can do that with a console command.

Slightly disappointing, but we'll see how it turns out.

There is a new map coming with the DLC for this mode bud. Although you can play older maps/sections on this mode aswell. Im looking forward to the user made levels for this mode personally. Already tried some cool user made levels out that i think would be perfect for this mode.

ALthough i do see where you are coming from, i wish there where a few more valve maps coming with this DLC/Mode.

Just do some coop with a friend or two on normal, youll learn pretty fast bud ;)

This. My friends and I already do this too. You can get twice the amount of zombies on screen than in the DLC preview or more if you don't mind a little lag, you can also spawn multiple tanks ect.

Except the sdk isn't going to be released until "shortly after" the dlc release, which means months like when the dlc was planned to be released "shortly after" the announcement delayed by December's holidays.

I'm not gunna lie, I'll still be playing while waiting for future updates.

Yeah, I'm not impressed. I expected more content than a single new, very small, map and a new game mode that could have been put together in a few minutes with some spawn console commands.

I'm extremely disppointed that you can't play the new mode in singleplayer as well.

As far as I'm concerned, they still owe us a serious amount of content (especially since it's so difficult to find a server with player created content, if there are any).

Best time we got so far is just over 6 minutes on lighthouse (only map ive tried it on).

Some might find this mode stupid or not fun, but i love the teamwork that is needed to last long.

And the fact taht there can be 4 smokers and 2-3 tanks chasing you around is just epic imo.

Great update imo and i cant wait for the SDK so we all can play user made maps together on matchmaking!! :)
