Anyone have experience with Razer Gaming mouses?

I am thinking about the Chroma or Elite but can't make up my mind.

I saw this Razer DeathAdder Chroma VS Razer DeathAdder Elite but still can't decide which one to go.

I mostly play Battlefield.

Do you guys with Razer or Logitech, or what is your favorite gaming mouse?

I have a Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum mouse that is wireless and on par with a wired mouse. I love it.

I like the shape of the DA, but the build quality is meh compare to some other brands. The logitech g502 I had was leaps better, but I couldn't use it due to horrific ergonomics.

Get whichever is cheaper and if its the same than get the elite since is a new upgrade. Keep in my razer does CES sale (January) usually every year and you can buy one product for 50% off. It used to be unlimited, so everyone hoarded everything, but I was able to get the outlet refurbished scraps $35 for blackwidow u keyboard!

I use the Death Adder 2013 and Death Adder Elite on my 2 rigs and they are both great. Haven't had any issues with either. I think the Elite is the latest one and does everything that the Chroma does. It has all the colour stuff, but I actually turn off the lights myself. I just bought it for the extra buttons.

I think your comparison link does the job pretty well if you're locked on Razer DeathAdder.

I use SteelSeries right now and the quality is great.

I use the razer naga hex v2. It's ok, Logitech g502 and g900's are better mice in almost every way but I like having the buttons on the side of my mouse...can play something like Diablo 3 1-handed and not have to let go of my beer :P.

I also find the razer software to be annoying vs Logitech's (I have a Logitech mechanical keyboard) or Corsair's.

It will take some getting used to but nothing is more precise for gaming than one of these.........

I personally prefer thumb trackballs, but the index one's are nice too. But once i started using one of these, i found it nearly impossible to go back to a regular mouse as it was soooo inaccurate by comparison. Most people i know or have heard of to switch, all say the same thing. A normal mouse ends up being way too clumsy for them. You can get the Logitechs at walmart for about 30 dollars cheaper than either of those mouses....mice.... as well.

I've had my Razer Taipan for a few years and so far it has been pretty solid. Not a lot of button options, but it feels pretty solid, especially if you have smaller hands.

Razer Naga 2014 - failed about 3 weeks after 2 year warranty was up. Razer said it's out of warranty and couldn't do anything. Almost $70 wasted. I went back to my 5-button MS mouse that I had used previously for 5+ years and it still worked flawlessly. I will not support Razer again. An $18 MS mouse (which I still use at work everyday) that has had 7+ years of use now still works without issues....whereas a $70 mouse from Razer takes a shit on me 2 years and 3 weeks after the purchase date.

I also had multiple tracking issues with the mouse and the Razer Synapse software that required me to uninstall the software multiple times and also I had to manually clean the registry out.

Razer equipment works without the software, but you do miss out on some functionality/control of features without it.

Since my Razer mouse failed, a month or so later I picked up a Logitech G502 and the mouse is amazing. The software for Logitech isn't intrusive, like Synapse software was and the mouse just feels better over the Naga 2014 I had.

Hey all, just wanted to share with you this cool mouse I bought. I don't know how many of you know this but there is actually a "silent click" mouse out there. Basically it's a computer mouse that clicks without the click noise. They design them for gaming and regular office use. My clicking sound was driving my roommate crazy so I had to look into it. I am not disappointed. This thing is literally quiet as a mouse. Anyone who is dealing with a crowded PC space and is worried about their noise should definitely look into these things!
