Debating whether I should buy torchlight.

I am thinking of buyin torchlight but I was wondering ...

-How many hours have you logged into the game

- How often does it go on sale for steam? (Anyone know a date it might be going on sale)

I put around 25 hours into the game. unfortunatly without multiplayer it wont last much longer than that. still worth it considering how cheap it is.

I got about 20hrs on it. Gets repedative fast. If it had multi and could play with friend would of been alot better. Titan quest was opposite for me i couldn't put that sucker down for 3months.

and if you like it go ahead and get it only for 20$, or you can wait for another Steam discount - but don't wait too long or you'll lose the excitement

Well I played the demo to Torchlight and think its amazing, but I have also heard Titan Quest is a great game as well. They also seem to both be around 20$, so...

What do you all think I should buy? Titan quest or Torchlight? (Which won't get as stale as fast)

I thought Torchlight was a great game, and it's really worth the money it costs. The only downside it had was that the game gets pretty repetitive after awhile, IMO. You should probably just try out the demo, as someone stated above. :)

Don't know.. Maybe 15 hours or so before I got bored. Since it's probably cheap now, I'd say it's worth it if you're interested. It's a nice time waster.

Well, it seems like its going to be TorchLight.

I just tried the demo to Titan Quest and before I got 1 minute into the game, "Analog input: Entering power save mode". The only way to fix this is to reboot the computer since the screen goes black. (I still have no idea how to fix this).. It only effects a certain number of games, though.
