Yes it is but anything below 29 you will see a big difference.

30 fps match eye frequence. However, we will feel smooth at 60 to 100.

Different people react differently to frames per second. Many films in theaters used to be displayed at 24fps. 30 is a good number to shoot for. Some people claim smoother views at higher fps (like 60), but most folks can't tell the difference.

So to answer your question, yes, 30 is "reasonable" for playing, but the higher the better.

Eye frequency? I hope you aren't trying to say that humans see in frames. And the human eye frequency would be much greater than 30 frames per second if that was the case.

Of course it is.

Thats what 95% of console games are run @ (30fps), so ofcourse it should be reasonable for playing :)

It's super easy too!! just solder 10K ohm resistor to the side of your head.

Our eye have a constant frequence about 25 to 30 Hz. But why we need 60fps or 90fps in game? With 2x or 3x, combining images help us to see motion better.

I think that might affect how you think just a tad bit.

well maybe but without the eyeball mod all those extra frames are just going to waste.

its not how fast your eye perceives things its how fast the image gets to your eye, then its instantaneos. thats why we can only see dying stars about seven years after it happens, because the light takes 7 years to get to us. and that whole hertz thing. we arent machines and hertz refers to the wires routing speed while are eyes are contstantly linked to our brain transmitting images close to the speed of light (electricity travels at speed of light however due to friction it slows down a little bit).

Some fps I can play low 40 or so. Counter strike source I need 80+ at all times, I'm serious I can tell the difference. Especially in a CAL game. Otherwise I feel it being less fluent.
