Delta Sector mod for Far Cry.......sweet!

I am a fps nut and I can't believe i just found this today. I've played for about a good hour and it's sweet! This mod really shows you the potential of Cry Engine 1.0. I can't imaging what these guys could do with Cry Engine 2? For those of you who missed this too..... Here

BTW, the gunplay is spot on and very realistic. The enemy AI is very good and force you to really be tactical in your approach. The only thing that bugged me is you can't crouch and walk at the same time. BTW, the first dude on the bridge is ridiculously easy to kill, but after that the AI shoots up 1000%

Very sweet mod! I didn't even like far cry 1 but this mod is pretty good, thanks for the heads up!

I can't believe how great this mod is. I would pay for this! How far have you gotten? I can't make it past the first mission as I keep geting shot by some sort of one hit, one kill weapon. Every time it happens the game won't pan the camera over to where the shot came from so you are constantly guessing. Have you been able to save yet? I keep having to start from the beginning. ThI also love how you can choose which way to approach objectives via Crysis. Hell......this mod actually looks like Crysis on Med to Low settings depending on where you are at. I can't wait to see more as I struggle to get thru these missions.

I know what you mean. I had to dig up my old Far Cry cd. There was no way I was not going to find that sucker. I gotta tell you the gun mechanics are spot on and hit damage is very realistic. You don't have to shoot a guy a million times before he dies. You hit him in the head and he goes down. Its also works the other way. If I get hit in a critical spot I 'm down. I can't wait to be able to try this on the hardest difficulty, but that going to be awhile. What i really love is how the enemy make such great use of the foilage, and surrounding terrain. You can tell the modders really wanted you to be challenged.

Actually when I was playing I thought the Screens look like crap compared to the Game itself.
