Demo vs Actual game

Hey whatsup!

So i don't really know much about computers sooo heres the question.

If the demo ran totally fine, does that mean it'll run ok if i bought the actually game?

So i downloaded the Winning 11 latest demo version. and it ran fine. so i wanted to go out tomorrow and purchase the actually game.

I meet and exceed everything but the video card. i purchased my laptop in 2004

I have a NVIDIA GeForce FX Go5200 32M/64M.

Do you guys think it'll be okay? any help will be appreciated. thx

THe full game would be highly likely be more optimised than the demo therefore if you can play the demo at a good settings with a good framerate then the full game would probably have better framerates.

Well most of the time if game ran nicely in the demo, full game will run nicely. just don't trust the demo, if you barely able to run the game.

also, i heard midway manipulated stranglehold demo to run smoothly, so there are few cases like that also

yeah, the demo running is the closest you can get to confirmation that the full game will run on your pc, short of actually trying the full game out

if the demo runs okay, it's a fair assumption that the full game will run as well or better.... but remember we are talking computers here, so nothing's set in stone

I agree that demo's often have the same requirements as the finale one. But then again some demo's use lower texture quality then the full version. Saves demo size, and works as a candy to get the better quality in the full version, but also lower the requirements for the demo VSfull. Some demos are also locked at lower resolution for thereasons above.
