I've made a few older posts regarding this build. I received 2 (count'em) 2 bad mobo's from Asus in a row that would not POST at all. I received a 3rd mobo from Asrock that I got to BIOS in (woo!). I thought for sure I was in the clear but now I am getting blue screen during windows installation.
The error windows 8 gives is a simple "WHEA Uncorrectable Error" during installation.
Things I have tried:
1.) remove GPU
2.) use alternative HDD
3.) use 1 stick of RAM, each stick in each slot of mobo alternatively
4.) PSU is fine from a multimeter test
5.) use an alternative Windows install
This leaves me to believe either *both* sticks of RAM are bad and I'm ungodly unlucky. My CPU is bad, or my mobo (god forbid) is bad. Does anyone have any possible tips on the matter? One thing I intend to try is to flash the BIOS to the most current version. This is very aggravating though not even being able to install Windows.
