Determind best settings for starcraft 2

Can someone help me determind the best settings for me for starcraft 2. My comp specs are Intel core 2 quadg8200 2.33ghz, 3.5 gb ram, nvidia geforce 9500 gt, windows proand about 20 gigs of hard drive room and with an 22 inch samsung t220 moniter. For some reason it recommands me to put my resoluation on 1280by800 but my destop resoluation is 1440by900.

I'm pretty sure you can run it on maxed out settings. If not maxed out, it'll probably be a mix of high and ultra settings.

Umm I don't think he can max it out, in fact he will probably only be able to run it on low with a 9500gt. To answer your question op, I don't know why they downsized your resolution. They did it with mine too and I just changed it.

I couldnt max the beta on ultra (slowed down to a crawl in multplayer) With the reatil version for some reason I can max everything ultra and it runs smoothly (only did campaign so far) IDK I think if anything you could do everything high at the very least with your set up
