That's... AMAZING. Deus Ex is one of the few series' left I was waiting for a sequel for.

Looks like a super interesting story too :D

Gotta kick some ass as Max Payne again, I'm assuming.

Surely they would have learnt from that mistake with IW though? Surely....

Cross your fingers and hope so. I'm sure they have, though.

Can't wait for #3; I just hope it lives up to the other games, especially #1.

So you liked the second one? What did you like about it? I thought it was pretty poor in comparison...

Deus Ex is in one of those sad examples of a game that really needed a good sequel, but one the least likely to get a decent one. I still hope Eidos tries to give the game the respect it deserves

DE2 was ok, but there was already so much room for improvement in DE1 that I was hearbroke when they did worse than the original (The first is still one of my favorite games ever, there just was so much room for improvement).

I own both, and although the first is clearly far superior, IW still had some good pointers. I thought the story was interesting, and there were quite a few quests to keep up your interest, having you run around and make moral choices and such (albeit less than Deus Ex 1, and through many, many areas with ridiculous load times).

The feel of the game, while very... small, was still nice, and it had that depression, futuristic feel about it. The graphics were quite good, demanding, but quite good, and although the universal ammo layout was stupid, the combat wasn't drab - it could be very fun at times.

In the end, I looked past the negatives of the game, and found quite a fun, interesting little game here. It's obviously not as great or revolutionary as the original, but it did have some positives, and I wouldn't call it "poor" - it was quite a good game on it's own right.

Nice, I hope the new dev studio that Eidos is using will do a good job with this game.
