So right now I just finished the second boss, and I have most of the augs' I wanted. I have-
Anti flash vision
Multiple opponent take down
Landing system
Hard skin- 2nd level
Cloak- full
Legs- jump high, run silent
Hacking to level 3 systems, hacking to turrets
Energy- full faster regeneration, 3 cells
Typhoon system- full
Arms- carrying capacity- full, break walls
And all the reg stuff you get from the start
I think I got all these pretty early. In what status were you in that stage?
I'm playing stealth- combat way, but hacking the cr*p of what ever I can. GG.

Here's a screenshot of my augments my first time completing the game.

If I were to choose a few that I thought were particularly useful, I'd say jump higher, Icarus Landing System, Smart Vision, Dermal Armor up to the point of EMP/Electricity protection, multiple takedown and upgrades to carrying capacity. Of course hacking is essential aswell to a point, but for alot of the higher rated ones you can just use the AUDs. They're not scarce.

Least useful to me would be aim stabilization, typhoon, and rebreather.

I'm currently about half or two thirds through the game - ( think)? Honestly the only augs I've specced into are hacking related, I have a mass of Paraxis points unspent; there's just not much that I really need, the game doesn't pressure you to invest in augmentation aside from hacks.

In my playthrough hacking, hard skin and cloak are the most important.

I am about to fight second boss.

Any tips about where to spend praxis points?

In my first play through I ended up maxing out cloak, but I honestly didn't end up using it all that much. The environment provides enough cover to move about and the cloaking system is such a battery hog. I'd rather use my energy levels to ram my first through an enemy's face :)

My first playthrough I ended up maxed out legs, arms, and some of the stealth related ones, though I didnt touch Stealth, Typhoon, and for some reason the robot and turret hacking augments, and the dermal armor. no wonder I had such a hard time with the bosses :P. My second playthough was completely non lethal(Pacifist achievement) on the Give Me Deus Ex Difficulty(completed all side quests as well), I maxed out Typhoon early on and discovered that I could kill every boss in 5 seconds :P. I dont get how people took 30-50 or more hours to complete the game. I completed the game on the hardest difficulty completely stealthy in about 25 hours including all the side quests, and a fairly large amount of exploring. Granted it was my second playthrough, I knew where to go etc, but my first play-through was also 25 hours and that included all but two of the side quests.

I just typhoon all the bosses down ... 1st one with exploding barrels, second with typhoon ammo, third with frag mines ...

EDIT: Oh ye, augs ... high jump, matrix landing, armor, cloak, heavy lifting, inventory slots, hacking and most important one for boss fights - typhoon (2 ammo per boss) ... and would you believe I went stealth on first try and almost had almost every mission with the "ghost" (bonus expirience) ? Recoil and steady aim are pretty much useless since you got lazer targeting and thus no actual recoil ... or at least not as much as without ... Oh and the lungs upgrades for gasses are somewhat usefull since from time to time some thugs throw those fart-like grenades ...

I just beat the second boss(in normal).

I only used 2 grenades, one rifle and a stun gun.

Man I used everything I had on that b***! about 120 rifle bullets, a few shotgun bullets, p.e.p.s, 2 sniper rifle bullets and finally picked up that machine gun that was laying there and finished her off... that was quite the fight! Also used alot of energy and all of my health pack things..sheesh... And the annoying this is that every time I tried to melle her she just punched my face back! even when she was near death! ahhhh..

On the other hand, l found it way to easy. So easy tah l thought it was bugged.

The fight with Barrett was more difficult imo. I died 15 times:P.

Hhh.. I thought the opposite.. I tought the fight with Barret was too easy, he went down after a few shots in the head from my rifle.. Oh well, I guess each one and his experience :)
