I didnt play on automatic because i thought it woulde be too easy but when i heared that most of my friends do it, i decided to try on automatic after i have already finished the game....just to see what it means to play on automatic.

I discovered that it was ridiculously easy.

So my question is - Who the hell uses this mode? is it only for the ones who truly suck?

Jesus what a "smart" conclusion  1 sale doesn't mean it has huge sales.

I didn't use it and didn't Automatic refer to the change of characters, in the story?

I gladly bought it.

And I used the Demon Hunter setting although I've never played a DMC game before and was completely unfamiliar with the controls and a little wary of the description for that game setting. Demon Hunter is not as hard as I thought it would be. I kind of wish they had a third harder setting for replay value.

I will admit that I am using it, I haven't tried the normal mode, but I have very slow reflexed and absolutely cannot mash buttons.

I played God of War 1 and 2 for PS2 and I did fine, but when I had to do a button mash sequence, it would take an hour to get.

I don't think I suck though, and I haven't played much of the game so ill see how hard it is. Maybe ill try on normal later.

This is my first DMC game too.

The combat in God of War was less complicated(i see it as a disadvantage)...

Anyway, i tried to teach my 10 year old brother to play and he manages to play only on automatic but i think that you can truly master the game when you play just on automatic

Me. :) This is the first DMC that I played and I though giving myself a "treat" would be nice. At any rate, I never had the motivation to use a non-Automatic mode; I'm only interested with the story of the game. And now that I finished it, I think it'll probably take a LOT of strategy videos before I turn of the automatic. And by the way, I finished the game on Human Mode with the Automatic Enabled. But quite honestly, I have no idea how it works. I just thought it would lessen the burden (and frustration). :)

I had no idea what it was when I first played DMC4 to be on the safe side I didn't use it I tried it once and found it the game was much easier but then again more boring as the computer helped you with ex gauges and combos and automatically charged the blue rose.
